Camelot: The Game [ver.0.51]




Greetings. This minor update includes optimised assets handling which should solve crashes due to memory leaks and also some other bugfixes. We apologise for the inconvinience. Please keep us informed if you still experience crashes and we will do our best to fix it.

Camelot: The Game [ver.0.50] Eng








Greetings knights and henchmen. This is the time for (long overdue) release of Camelot: The Game. New journeys await our hero full of new acquaintances and unexpected meetings. In this update we've put a lot of work in the world building and secondary characters. Unlike linear story in the demo (which is called "chapter 1" from now on), this version offers a lot of detailed side quests to enrich the ambience.
What's new: 
  1. Added 22 game locations.
  2. A lot of new characters to meet and events to see.
  3. New background music to enrich the game world.
  4. More than 3 hours of gameplay.
  5. Quest log. Use it if you unsure where to go and what to do.
  6.  World map and fast travel. With the new engine comes new ways to make traveling more convinient.

P.S. New translator's note:
I have been drafted into this project about a week ago. At that time most of the lines were translated by the artist so my task was to translate the rest to make the game ready for release. However, I've noticed that artist's translation requires some clean-up. However, the game release was already delayed and pushing the deadline even further was hardly an option. That's why it was decided to release the game as is and make the version with fixed translation shortly after. Hopefully in the first week of February.
But don't let that stop you from playing the game right now. There's a big chunk of text related to side quests (my initial task) and I've managed to fix a sizeable portion of the main story. Hopefully that would be something to keep you entertained for now.
I know that I just said something that's you never supposed to say as a member of game development team but I feel it's my duty to be completely honest with you. Stay tuned for updates!

Work, work, work!

Hello Everyone,
We work hardly on translation, about 80% of it (with main plot) is already done, only some side quests left.
Although we are still looking for tranlator.

We will not break!

















Good day to you, our dear Patrons.
Unfortunatelly, we have some sad new for you. It's about game release.
We've made a stable build, but leaving 2016 year got another surprise for us.
We've lost a translator. And now we are left with the ruins (not whole game thankfully, just translation).
My bad we didn't noticed it earlier, but what doesn't kill us only makes us stronger.
In case you're interested in our internal kitchen, here's what happened:
We gave whole text to our translator in the begining of December.
He assured me that he'll be able to finish work in time. But then he started to disappear for couple of days.
When I've managed to catch him online, he assured that situation is stable and work is in progress.
And surprisingly today (December 29th) he wrote that he quits and what is more terrifying - that he didn't even started!
That's my fault obviously, 'cause I've hired him in first place, but noone is insured that this won't happen.
So we kicked out his lazy butt, and now we are searching for a new translator. It would take some time.
Yet we work on translation right now - one of our artist volunteered to do this job.
We'll keep you in touch for latest news. Of course we (and you too obviously) would like to see all of this did not happen.
We really wanted to release new version this year, but we won't be discouraged and will not lay down arms.
While game is translating, we'll take some advantage from this situation and add some features that we wanted to add, but had to delay them to next update due to lack of time. We don't want this year to end up like this, but it already happened and we have to look forward. We sincerely apologize if we did not meet your expectations!

Merry Christmas!







Hi everyone! First of all, we'd like to wish you a Merry Christmas! Due to the holiday we want to present another character. We truly believe, you'll find it to your likes.
Today just a short post is written, because we want to give you pleasure for a while with our upcoming update as soon as possible. Everything is done by 99%. Issues, which should be settled, aren't too much.
We planned to release the update before Christmas, but, unfortunately, we've missed the deadline just a little bit. Keep following us, the latest update is coming very soon!

November review

Hello everyone! It is time for the month's review. This month was a productive one. We've found new artists, who'll work with us in the future, but we can't give them main characters to draw right away. We need some time to test them. Also we continued the work of the artist who left us, and the work is all set.
Started to work with one talented composer, and I'm sure that you'll enjoy his music. Everybody's wondering, where's the update? So, I planned to release it this month, but despite my optimistic plans, we can't do this yet.
The main work is done, but we have a lot of small details and bug fixes, of course. We want you to enjoy our game, not to face bugs everytime. We need a little bit more time for it, and we decided to make smaller updates from now on. We hope you'll understand us.
Now some good news. We created the main playground for the game, the village is done, surroundings too. It was a really time-spending routine, because we made it all from the scratch! But now it is ready, and we can breathe live into it! We will do a lot of interesting side-quests. A few updates will take place here! Also we will implement side stories. I hope that everybody will find in our game something that he or she wants! And our team is going back on the battlefield, because hordes of bugs never sleep!
P.S. Dear Patrons, I didn't forget about exclusive arts. They're going to be a little bit later, because we want to finish the update and start alpha testing. Thanks for the understanding!
